Question not clear: Drotaverine is muscle relaxant for colicky abdominal pain also known as anti-spasmodic . Will it work in IBS? not sure as IBS is more an anxiety or stress related illness and antispasmodic medications may not work

Could be: It does decrease peristaltisis and helps relax smooth muscles. It has not been marketed in this country but it sounds like it would be useful for IBS-D.
