It's normal.: I quite an answer below: The tonsils gather up rubbish, germs and stuff and push them out through those "holes". Yes, it smells AWFUL, but it's waste material that needs to be expelled because if it stays in the body, it could cause infections and other problems. They are doing their jobs. Good luck!
