Yes: Acid reflux can cause chest pain in some people. Other symptoms can include burning in the stomach and esophagus, vomiting, abdominal pain, hoarseness, chronic cough, etc.

Yes, but: Acid reflux can give you burning sensation in the middle of chest, also can cause chest pain. But chest discomfort can also be caused by heart disease. Cardiac work up is necessary to exclude any coronary heart disease if you haven't done so.
