My boyfriend had something like a hole on his ankle and it burns all around it. the picture is in file on here. can you please tell me what it is?

Ankle lesion: This ankle lesion may be infected. The burning sensation around the hole indicates inflammation. If coumadin (warfarin) is in the picture, bleeding may be enhanced. Coumadin, (warfarin) in rare circumstances, can cause skin sores.
