See your doctor: If they feel it is indicated, they can prescribe medicine for flight anxiety. In the meantime, try and remember that commercial plane travel is far safer than car travel. I know new experiences can be scary, but flying on a plane is extremely safe, and can be kind of fun! Hope this helps!

CBT: Seek a cognitive-behavioral therapist who specializes in phobias. One method they use is systematic desensitization which slowly and incrementally brings the person closer and closer to the thing they are afraid of in slow, graduated steps that help make the anxiety more tolerable.
