It is unclear: It's not clear if this means that you should undergo another course of antibiotics based on labs results, but that's what I would suspect. The only way to better to understand the issue at hand is if you can provide better background behind your health like if you were taking antibiotics in the past and what for. It would also help to know what your lab test results were.

Persistent infection: Sometimes in treating an infection it is necessary to give a second course of antibiotics to finish treating the infection. Other times, the culture may show that the microorganism may not be susceptible the original antibiotic used to treat the infection originally.
