My wife has continuous pain in lower abdominal as she is 14 week pregnant? is it normal or need to worry?

Talk to doctor: Continuous pain doesn't sound normal. Sometimes women do have some ligament pain with pregnancy, even at 14 weeks, but continuous pain makes me think she deserves to be checked out by doctor. Could be pregnancy related, or could be her appendix, constipation, gastroenteritis or something else as well. An exam and history are in order. Hope everything is okay.
