Possible fracture: I answered a similar question last week- get an xray and an orthopedic examination- this sounds like it could be a fracture- do not ignore!

Is it open Wound?: If open wound has not healed for 2 months, it is time to see the doctor. If it is painful; it may be normal . But you may need Xray to r/o Hairline Fracture as it is still painful.
