Very good drug.: Mtx tabs are 2.5mg. Taken orally, they are in the gut @600x that will be in the blood strea. Absorption is variable-40-90%. Then to the liver which sees 400x that which will be diluted out. None of these are significant issues when given by a weekly subcutaneous injection. Mtx is a valuable drug for inflammatory arthritis, psoriasis, and many autoimmune diseases. I only gibe it subcu!
