What is the procedure for a colonoscopy these days? i tried to make an appt with the physician but got no response.

USUAL STEPS: You will be instructed to take a clear liquid diet and not to eat after the evening prior to the procedure. The most important part is to drink all the golitely which will cause diarrhea until stool completely clears and only water is what you see. Its very important to be clean so that minute polyps can be seen and removed and no lesion missed.
