See an eye doctor: You want to have them check the cause for epiphora (tearing of the eyes), check the puncta (drainage apparatus between eyes and nose) & check your lids for proper closure.An oculoplastic surgeon can evaluate it easily, as can a general ophthalmologist.If you have even some exposure when sleeping causing dryness, you can benefit from lubricating ointment.May need to have your thyroid evaluated too.
