Wha, You Don't Know?: As long as you can, of course! OK,just kidding(sort of). First,you don't want to give that viral horror show to anyone else,right? So stay home until the fever is gone and you are on the mend (hopefully just a couple of days)then decide if you are up to your job.If it's in a cubicle,go for it.If you are a trapeze artist,give it a few more days. Bottom line is how you feel and if the boss is an ass

Until you feel well: Stay out until you can work ok. You want the headache to be gone and no fever. If you feel up to it return to work.

Are headaches common with viral infections?
Went in for joint pain, sun rash, headaches and severe fatigue. Blood work-CRP 8, ESR normal. RDW 16.3% w/ MCHC 30.7 but hgb & hct normal. Positive for EBV antibodies, no recent infection and negative on mono. ANA speckled @ 1:160. Any ideas? Lupus?
