Palpitations when just sitting around. pcp says they are from anxiety. i don't feel anxious when they happen though. is this normal?

Palpitations: This is a chicken and egg question.the primary occurrence of a heart rhythm abnormality needs to be considered, if a Holter monitor has not shown any significant abnormality then perhaps a longer term monitoring device such as a 30 day event recorder can be considered,the causes are multiple , work with you're prescribing physicians to try to establish the cause, mechanism etc.
