A member asked:

Palpitations for most of my life that cause anxiety, if ekg/echo are normal and dr. says nothing to worry about- why do others state to check further?

Which others?: I assume the ekg and echo cardiogram were done under the supervision of a cardiologist, if not, they should be. Anxiety is well known to cause palpitations, the way you stated it was reverse: palpitations cause of anxiety. I think the former explanation is probable. If a generalist physician said check further it is likely because they are not a cardiologist. Just being "careful".
