YES AND NO!: Likely to see liver, kidney, pancreas,lymph node lesions and some others BUT SMALL ENDO LUMINAL (phenobarbital) TUMORS MAY BE MISSED_ Stool may interfere with detection of small lesions and that is why scopes are done-

Not very well: Only very large abdominal tumors can be reliably detected with a non-contrast CT scan. Contrast is a dye that is either injected or swallowed (usually both) to improve the quality of the CT scan. Many tumors are essentially invisible without contrast enhancement. Patients with kidney disease may need to be especially careful before taking the contrast dye, as it can have side effects.
