A member asked:

Mitral valve mildly thickened and is trivial regurgitation and my tricuspid and pulmonary valves have trivial regurgitation what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Regurgitation: Modern ultrasound imaging is highly sensitive and often shows trivial amounts of valvar insufficiency in patients. Usually this is of no clinical significance. There are situations, however, when actual early valve abnormalities can progress and get worse in the future. Ask your Doc who has read the study whether you have a problem.
