No: Mono is a common infection transmitted by saliva contact.HIV is by sexual contact or by iv route.There is absolutely no increase in HIV in mono patients.

No: Almost, without exception, everyone gets mono. People carry the virus for a lifetime so it is easy to be exposed to it. If you are concerned about HIV see your doctor for testing. Not everyone with mono has HIV.
