Many possibilities: How long your pregnancy lasted will help a great deal in pointing toward the most likely causes of miscarriage. Discuss chromosome testing with your healthcare provider. Other tests may be indicated as well. If you were into the second trimester when miscarriage occurred, you may need to be evaluated for anatomic abnormalities of uterus/cervix.
