A member asked:

Are there any illnesses or medications that makes the symptoms of hypoglycemia worse?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Coffee, phentermine: The symptoms of hypoglycemia are tied to an adrenaline surge, leading to a jittery, shaky, light-headed state. If you are drinking coffee or taking meds which cause a jittery feeling, then the symptoms would be even worse.
