Feel like i have a rubberband around my ankle. have had pain in the same leg for months. knee mri, leg us and ddimer all negative. what could this be?

Ankle pain: without more information, I can only speculate. You could have something similar to a tarsal tunnel syndrome, or pain secondary to edema or swelling at your ankles. I would need more information to hone in on the proper diagnosis and treatment

I think you need: A good examination. When reading your question I'm a little confused. You had pain in the leg, knee MRI, negative ultrasound but are complaining about a feeling around the ankle. I would ask for a clearer history....the ankle complaint maybe related to neuropathy.
