Sounds fine: You can't overdose on either. Here in Kansas City, especially in the mid-20th century, "vitamin B12 shots" weren't always just vitamin B12. I trust you got yours from a reliable supplies. There's no need to take either if you're eating a sensible, balanced, non-vegetarian diet. Best wishes.
