Gout: Gout occurs mainly in the large joints of the body, most notably in the great toe joint, ankle joint, knee, and sometimes the elbow. Uric Acid will crystalize in joint areas that are the furthest from the torso where the core temperatures are the highest turning the uric acid crystals into fluid. Therefore it is less thank likely to occur from the gastconemius to the Achilles.
