Was curious as to where can pain caused by gout occur?

Anywhere: The big toe joint is the one most commonly affected by acute gouty attacks but it can occur in other joints. Some people get deposition of gouty material (uric acid) in their soft tissues. These are called tophi or tophus for a single spot.
