I think you need: A good examination. When reading your question I'm a little confused. You had pain in the leg, knee MRI, negative ultrasound but are complaining about a feeling around the ankle. I would ask for a clearer history....the ankle complaint maybe related to neuropathy.

Would MRI without contrast find DVT? I've had back of knee and calf pain. D-dimer and ultrasound came back normal, but veins in feet&leg are bulging.
