Maybe yes or no: Causes of recurrent abdominal discomfort as described may be identified by first addressing accompanying signs/symptoms so as to localize the organ involved: vaginal discharge or bleeding, alteration in periods, pregnancy risk? Fever, nausea, vomiting, altered stool pattern, blood with stool, tenderness, distension? Painful urination, blood in urine? Recent trauma, herniations? Age? Gender? Risks?

Abdominal pain: Lower abdominal pain can be caused by GI issues (e.g. constipation, infection such as appendicitis, or colitis if you have diarrhea), GYN issues (e.g. pregnancy, ovarian cyst, etc), among others. If it becomes severe, an ER visit can start with an ultrasound and labs, possibly a CT scan if needed to rule out the emergent causes.
