ive had acid or gerd for 2weeks solid lanzoprazol and peptac not working yet should i persist taking these till its gone?

Call your doctor: You should avoid any stomach irritants like alcohol or medication like Ibuprofen or naproxen or aspirin. If that doesn't work, double the dose of lanzoprazole. But more importantly contact your doctor as there may be another cause for your symptoms.
