Depends: My understanding is that sometimes the tubes can be unblocked, it depends on what is blocking them. Sometimes when something is pushing on them from the outside that can be moved or removed, allowing the tube to open. Since we have IVF these days, it is not clear if it is best to take the tubes out. I have heard when a tube is unblocked it may close back up within months. Your surgeon may know
