Ok: Fever in a 6 month old that is otherwise doing well can be treated with Tylenol (acetaminophen) alternating with Motrin each every 6 hours . You can stagger it to every 3 hours switch to the other medicine so you can have a good chance of getting the fever down. Cold compresses to the body can help as well. Notify you pediatrician this is happening so they can see you soon. Seizures can happen so be wary

Fever with shots: Fever is an expected side effect from vaccines. The usual recommendation is to treat a fever of 102 or higher. If she is fussy and not eating well,or the injection site seems like it is bothering her, some acetaminophen may help. These symptoms usually last only a day or two, any longer then get her rechecked by her Doctor.
