Mystery: Why do all patients eventually die? WE all must die of something. We are living now on average 77-79 years, the longest in human history. We used to die so young that we didn't live long enough to get cancer. When the US left the colonies in the 1700's the life span was about 36 years. Progress is being made against some cancers, but the condition of nature is to eventually die.

Many possible reason: In general cancers can be divided into Solid tumors or blood cancers. Blood cancers can more often be curable with Chemotherapy. Solid tumors can cured with surgery and or Radiotherapy provided the diagnosis is made early(stage 1 or 2).
