Contrast: Usually with an MRI or CT scan when the abbreviation CNT is listed it means that the test was done with contrast. Contrast is a substance that is usually injected into the vein that shows up certain structures more clearly. On a CT sometimes the contrast is given orally meaning you drink the contrast.
