CA & blood clots: Patients with CA are at increased risk of blood clots, even before treatment. Clots can be the first sign of CA. If a pt is having problems with clots, treatment can often eliminate the risk of clots. The most common to cause clots are lung, ovary, brain, pancreas, lymphoma, and kidney. We really do not know why this happens or what causes the clots
