Dehydrated?: If you haven't been drinking fluids, your urine will be darker. When you are well hydrated, your urine will be light yellow to clear. If issues continue, see your doctor for a simple urine test in the office.

Drink >water, see Dr: Until you get in to see your provider (make it soon) drink a bunch more water. (At least 6-8 8oz glasses a day). That should reduce both the darkness and smell - but the sweetness might be an early sign of diabetes and you don't want to ignore that. It might have been a gift -in-disguise that the concentration problem lets you snag a sugar problem early! So, call for an appointment and drink up!
