I am currently taking viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) 20mg daily and hydroxyzine 10mg prn for anxiety disorder. symptoms are better but still anxious. md added deplin. good?

A study said "yes": There is evidence that methylfolate (Deplin) can help reduce symptoms of depression. (Papakostas GI, et al. L-methylfolate as adjunctive therapy for SSRI-resistant major depression: results of two randomized, double-blind, parallel-sequential trials. Am J Psychiatry. 2012 Dec 1;169(12):1267-74.)
