See your doctor: I normally prescribe a topical steroid. Try Anusol if available over the counter or tucks (witch hazel) medicated pads. If no better a consult with your doctor to examine the area is recommended

Throw away the neosp: If you have jaundice you need a DR immediately. You need a skillful DR to determine why you have a fissure and why (is it really?) jaundice. Meanwhile try frequent vaseline or Aquaphor. Neosporin and bacitracin are common sensitizers, among the most common things people may be allergic to. They fail to help any skin infections.

Not Neosporin!: Neosporin has not been found useful in treating anal fissures. A surprising cream that does seem to help heal anal fissures is Nitroglycerin! This medication is used for treating angina but it has also been found to relax the anal sphincter and also increase blood flow to the fissure which aids in healing. See your doctor or a proctologist for this - it is not an over the counter medication.
