Can be a few things: This can be trouble with gas or other musculoskeletal issues. Sometimes it is a viral type of infection. Unfortunately other serious side effect can be leakage of air into abdominal cavity called pneumoperitoneum which is serious. Have you had any procedulres done recently? Make sure constipation issues are not cause but I would recommend seeing your doctor but if severe go to emergency.

Sure its gas? If so: Feeling full of "gas" may reflect malabsorption of food (like gluten, lactose), intake of poorly digested food, or choosing foods known to promote gas (beans, fizzy drinks). Sometimes its more complicated--a stomach emptying too slowly, bacterial overgrowth syndrome, delayed intestinal function, partial obstruction from any cause, infection, rectum problems, and pelvic pathology outside the gut.
