10 days: A blood pregnancy test is the most accurate type of pregnancy test. It can detect a pregnancy as early as 10 days after conception. A urine pregnancy test is reliable after you miss a period. Best wishes!

Blood PG test: Blood tests for pregnancy measure serum HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which appears in pregnancy. It can be detected as early as 10 days from conception. Depends on lab test done to a degree. Ask your doc when to get tested. Here is more on the test: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003510.htm Urine pregnancy tests state that they can detect PG 2-7 days after a missed period.
