Not likely.: No test is 100% accurate, unfortunately. I'd suggest waiting a week, repeating the home test, and if it's still positive, going back to your doctor's. If the doctor's office urine test is still negative, your doctor can order a blood test for pregnancy, which is more accurate.

May pick up earlier: Early Response type test may pick on pregnancy earlier than a standard urine pregnancy test. A blood pregnancy test is the gold standard.
