A member asked:

Is a first response early result pregnancy test more accurate then a dr.s office urine test? my home pregnancy test was pos but doc office was neg!

Not likely.: No test is 100% accurate, unfortunately. I'd suggest waiting a week, repeating the home test, and if it's still positive, going back to your doctor's. If the doctor's office urine test is still negative, your doctor can order a blood test for pregnancy, which is more accurate.

May pick up earlier: Early Response type test may pick on pregnancy earlier than a standard urine pregnancy test. A blood pregnancy test is the gold standard.
