Stop drinking: Alcohol use daily causes impotence. Smoking may do so when older especially because of constriction of blood vessels already partly filled by plaque. Stopping alcohol is your best choice. Chronic heavy alcohol use affects nerves too, to get some bloodwork to check for thiamine and folate (folic acid) deficiency and other effects on body, inc. liver. Stopping both at once is smart.
