Depending on your degree of fear or anxiety, different levels of sedation may be required. Take care and have a comfortable experience.

Either: Anxiety or phetermine could lead to palpitations. If no palpitations prior to fear about the root canal then it could be anxiety. Anxiety to Dental procedures could be severe and require desenstization or and anxiolysis prior to the procedure.

Anxiety: Either could cause it but dental injections commonly cause issues even in those not anxious since most anesthetics have epinepherine that can cause your heart to race. Discuss nervousness with your dentist. There are multiple ways to manage anxiety but the dentist cannot help you if they do not know you need help!
