Allergens: Any food you are allergic too. Common foods are wheat, eggs, peanuts and other tree nuts, shellfish, strawberries. I knew a patient allergic to papaya who would break out in hives after eating it. Try and figure out what you ate that may have caused a reaction and take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or another antihistamine to see if that will help.

Any: Any food that you have an allergy to can potentially give you this type of reaction. Try to pinpoint it. In the meantime take loratidine or certrizine to minimize the symptoms.
