One side or both?: Tingling & burning on 1 side of the face (either left or right) could be a sign of Bell's palsy or a problem with the VII (facial) nerve. Very rarely wd this affect both sides. Herpes zoster works the same way. If you have Sx on both sides, then consider a skin problem or systemic condition Hope this helps, & good luck.
