Not likely: You can try expulsion therapy with an alpha blocker like tamsulosin. It's pretty big though and is not likely to pass spontaneously. You need to see a Urologist. You need to drink enough water to have 2L urine output daily. If you have a stone in your ureter right now, you would likely be in significant discomfort. Dont screw around with this and get seem by someone ASAP. Emergency Room

Pass a stone: Very high fluid intake. Aim for 5 liters per day. Include orange juice 2 cups per day and ReaLemon extract 5 tablespoons per day. Add 1 oz organic olive oil per tablespoon lemon extract. Add 2 oz apple cider vinegar 3x day.

Here are some ...: The odd to pass a 8-mm stone through ureter is very slim. General speaking, the likelihood to pass a 4-mm ureteral stone is roughly around 75 to 85% in two weeks. But it does means smaller than 4 mm will always pass; on the other hand, it doesn't mean a stone bigger than 4 mm will never pass. As stated before, watch & wait may be suitable for individual patients. More detail? ask Doc.
