A member asked:

My mom is getting age-related cataract. what can i/she do in daily life to help her recover from this without a surgery?ty

A doctor has provided 1 answer

New glasses?: First of all make sure her glasses are up to date. As long as she's able to do her activities if daily living she should be ok without cataract surgery. Eventually however they may get to the point where it's her only option. When she can't do what she likes to do anymore because if the cataracts , that's when it's time for surgery.
