i stopped drinking alcohol 4 months ago and now my body is going through some dramatic changes. is that normal?

Yes: Chronic alcohol ingestion can induce production of hepatic microsomal enzymes. Depending on the amount, frequency and length of your alcohol intake, there may be hepatic injury, cirrhosis bleeding diasthesis, and withdrawal symptoms, such as delirium tremens.
