Steroid injections: A single steroid injection should not cause muscle fatigue. Insomnia, night sweats and a rapid heart rate are common side effects. Repeated injections can lead to muscle weakness in the thighs and upper arms, weight gain, and fatigue. See your pain management physician to discuss your symptoms.
