I just started taking pantoprazole for a suspected ulcer, and it's giving me constant heartburn, which i didn't have before, just ab. pain. any ideas?

Heartburn/ulcer: You need an EGD (a scope to see the esophagus/stomach/1st part of small intestine). A few different types of doctors can do this but I recommend that you see a gastroeneterologist (a GI Doc) You may have an ulcer or ulcers. Sometimes ulcers can even by caused by bacteria and antibiotics are needed. In the meantime, eat mild foods, avoid, stress, coffee, acidic foods, etc. Also, tell your doc now
