Can you please tell me how psoriasis and eczema differ?

Both immunologic: Psoriasis and eczema are both immunological conditions that cause inflammation in the skin. Eczema is histamine driven and is related to hay fever and asthma. People with eczema have more allergies. Psoriasis is a systemic inflammatory condition that affects the skin and joints, and more recently found to also affect the heart. Patients with psoriasis have higher risks of developing skin cancers.

Psoriasis and Eczema: Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease where your body attacks the skin integrity leading to psoriatic skin lesions and possibly arthritis. Eczema is an allergic (atopic dermatitis) disease that manifests in characteristic spots and tends to be related to food and environmental allergens.
