Immunologic: Psoriasis and eczema are both immunological conditions that causes inflammation in the skin. Eczema is histamine driven and is related to hay fever and asthma. People with eczema have more allergies. Psoriasis is a systemic inflammatory condition that affects the skin and joints, and more recently found to also affect the heart. Patients with psoriasis also have higher risks of skin cancers.
