Common: This is common with PCOS but it is not normal. Because you do have estrogen around and it is stimulating the uterine lining to grow but you aren't ovulating and producing progesterone, the lining will just keep getting thicker and when you do bleed it will be heavy and prolonged. Over a long time this increases your risk of uterine cancer. See your doctor for treatment.
