Not usually: Losartan has very few side effects. Cardiazem (diltiazem) can cause headaches or swollen ankles .

Side effects: I have a lot of experience with both medications and have not seen nausea as a problem although any medication is capable of causing some stomach intolerance in any given case.

Not commonly: Neither of these medications commonly cause severe nausea. The most common GI side effect from diltiazem is constipation. I would suggest you speak with your physician since these medications can sometimes cause electrolyte abnormalities which can cause significant nausea.
